Meanwhile, back in Kilcloon, the children from Junior Infants to 2nd class enjoyed sessions in basketball, soccer (Shooting Stars), Zumba dancing and orienteering. Pictures below.
Before each school day started, the children assembled in the yard and took part in lively 'Wake Up-Shake Up sessions (Movement to Music) , led by two parents.
All children ran a 'Mile with a Smile' each day, and this culminated with a 'Super Hero' run on the Friday. Well done to all classes on their commitment to the run, despite some inclement weather.

ASW came to a close in spectacular style when the children from 6th class took on the might of the teachers in a basketball and soccer play-off! Despite the excellent performances of the children, they didn't stand a chance against such a talented and skillful staff!!
